Résumé : Along with medicine, surgery and pediatrics, gynecology is one of the four main areas of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Its history goes back to the dawn of time, inscriptions relating to childbirth were found on turtle bones and shells over 2,000 years ago. Acupuncture has beneficial effects throughout the gynecological sphere, preserving hormonal balance, improving the menstrual cycle, strengthening blood circulation in the genitals, stimulating the immune system and fertility. It also facilitates pregnancy and childbirth. In other words, acupuncture plays an important role in the treatment of all disorders affecting women from puberty to the menopause. This book presents, with synoptic tables, an approach to the main clinical conditions affecting the gynecological sphere, and suggests an acupuncture and herbal treatment for each of them.
